Delrin sleeves on Certain hexed gold abutment cylinders have been adjusted and waxed to forms suitable for
the proper application of ceramic. Units #5,6 & 7 were cast and ceramic metal substructures were subsequently
fashioned as telescopic crowns upon them to overcome divergent surgical fixture placement and to obtain a pleasant and natural
esthetic appearance.

Implants #3 and #4 received UCLA abutment cylinders that were waxed and cast as screw-retained individual ceramic
units. #5, 6 & 7 were situated in a manner that precluded this approach. (The access apertures on these units were
situated bucco-labially)..To overcome the angulation of the fixtures, custom abutments were surveyed and adjusted. Retentive
grooves were placed proximally and lingually to facilitate a path of insertion and as an anti-rotational feature. Wax patterns
were then fashioned and cast in gold as ceramic substrates. All components were carefully hand-crafted to fit precisely.
