Shade charting a single maxillary central incisor to capture essential characteristics and blend it into the arch naturally, is a task for ceramists with years of experience and confidence in proven technique, procedures and materials. The tabs are a basic guide to determine chromatic value and dominant hue. Proper charting is an essential aspect however, and the porcelain powders must be layered and condensed properly. Human eyes and hands are required. Don't expect to get this kind of work from a digital shade wand, and certainly not from a CAD/CAM robot.
